Walking on the Top of China on the Cloud: A Comprehensive Introduction to Shanghai center Building

🚀  Basic information

The Shanghai center in Lujiazui Financial District is the tallest building in China (632 meters) and the second tallest building in the world. 📍  Location: 501 Yincheng Middle Road, Pudong New Area. 🕒  Opening hours: The sightseeing hall is open daily from 9:00-21:00 (with the latest admission at 20:30), and may be adjusted on special dates such as New Year's Eve. 🎫  Admission: Adult ticket is 180 yuan (118th floor sightseeing hall), student/elderly discount ticket is 120 yuan, and children under 1 meter are free. It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance through the official mini program and make a reservation on weekends.

🚇  Transportation Guide

It takes only 5 minutes to walk from Exit 6 of Lujiazui Station on Metro Line 2, and upon exiting, you can see the stunning skyline of the three piece set. 🚗  Self driving can be parked in the B2-B5 parking lot (15 yuan/hour), but parking spaces in Lujiazui are tight on weekends, so it is recommended to take a taxi (about 100 yuan for Hongqiao Airport and about 60 yuan for Pudong Airport).

🌆  Must play highlights

First, take a look at the stunning 3D model of "Top of Shanghai" on the B1 floor (taking photos and posting them on social media will be criticized), and then take the 18 meter/second high-speed elevator for 55 seconds to reach the 118th floor. Standing at an altitude of 546 meters, watching the Huangpu River twist out of the "S curve" through the french window 🌠  Don't miss the "Peak Light Show" on the 126th floor (every half hour), where thousands of tons of dampers dance in the light and shadow, making it a sci-fi blockbuster! Whispering: On the 119th floor, there is the world's tallest bookstore, "Duoyun Academy". Ordering a cup of coffee and enjoying a cloud view is more cost-effective (with an average of 40 yuan per person to offset the price difference of the sightseeing ticket).

📸  Travel Tips

It is recommended to enter the venue one hour before sunrise or sunset on weekdays, as there are few people and the lighting is beautiful. 📌  Hidden gameplay: Scan the code on the 118th floor to unlock AR viewing (by aligning your phone with the Bund, you can see historical images of century old buildings), and on the B2 floor, you can also experience the "Sky Realm" mirror device. The entire tour takes about 2-3 hours, remember to wear non slip shoes - high-altitude glass floors can make the legs of those who are afraid of heights soft!

🍴  Surrounding facilities

There is a simple dining area on the second floor of the building (50-80 yuan per person), and for a sense of ceremony, you can go to the Chinese restaurant on the 87th floor of the Park Hyatt Hotel (600+yuan per person). 💼  Luggage storage: Large luggage can be stored in nearby storage rooms.

💰  Budget reference

Basic version: Ticket 180+Catering 80+Transportation 50=310 yuan/person

In depth experience: including damper explanation and cloud based afternoon tea, about 500 yuan/person

✨  Private suggestion

On cloudy days, there is a fairyland feeling of soaring through clouds and mist. I captured the most magical "floating city" blockbuster in foggy weather! Remember to bring your original ID card and do not bring a tripod (phone stand allowed). When taking the elevator downstairs at the end, staring at the changes in floor numbers will bring a wonderful dizziness of "crossing time and space"
